•Ferðbúinn ehf. (kt.630293-3329) manages the campsite and is responsible for the services provided here.
• Children under the age of 18 cannot camp alone and must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
• Respect other guests by limiting noise.
• Pay for each night in advance otherwise you will loose your spot.
• Cars have to be parked in the parking lot (if they are not being slept in).
• We do not offer long term spots, the maximum stay is 7 nights.
• Campfires are not allowed.
• Leave valuables at your own risk.
• Dogs must be on a leash.
• Smoking and cooking is not allowed in the facility house.
• We ask that you put your trash in the dumpster that's located on the hill above the facility house.
• Do not drive on the tent spot.
• You agree to being recorded with the security cameras that are located at the entrance and with the license plate scanner that opens gate.
• You agree to let us send you an email with the receipt and information about the campsite.
• Customers are allowed to cancel their reservation up until 24 hours before the scheduled booking time and will get a full refund excluding a 500 ISK cancellation fee.
• In the case of a shortened stay, a 50% refund is issued for the time remaining on the booking. If the stay is shortened after the local check-in time begins, one night is subtracted from the total refund.
• Guests must bring a printed receipt or a digital copy on a mobile device to present the receipt to the campsite staff on request.
• Guests may start setting up camp after 13:00. If the situation allows, the operator may authorize setting up camp earlier.
• Guests must leave the campsite before 11:00. If the situation allows, the operator may authorize delayed check-outs.
• The maximum capacity for each spot is 6 people, ages 13 and older. (Children aged 12 years and younger do not count towards the maximum capacity). If the number of guests traveling together exceeds the capacity, additional spots must be reserved.
• It is strictly forbidden to resell campsite reservations.
• All prices include VAT
• These terms and conditions and the provision of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Icelandic law. If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, unenforceable or non-binding, all other provisions remain valid. Any dispute arising out of these general terms and conditions and our services shall exclusively be submitted to the competent courts in Iceland.
