Snorrastaðir
Snorrastaðir Campsite
The weekend 11-13 of July campsite service is limited. The kitchen and common area are closed due to a private event in the big white house. The wc and showers are free to use but if you don´t have equipment to boil the water from the faucets with you you need to bring drinking water with you to the campground. We have a temporary problem with our drinking water.
Nestled at the gateway to Snæfellsnes, Snorrastaðir campsite offers a peaceful stay surrounded by lava fields, open skies, and stunning views of Snæfellsjökull glacier on the way down to the site. The trail to the striking Eldborg crater begins close to the campsite, making it ideal for hikers and nature lovers.
Facilities include toilets, showers, and a shared common area with Wi-Fi, seating, and a basic kitchen (guests should bring their own utensils).
The campsite has two zones:
Zone A - without electricity
Zone B - with the possibility of electricity.
Please select electricity when booking, as availability is limited.
